big bows

i love big bows! this one is from sadie's aunt lindsey...i guess it's a little big for her right now, but i couldn't resist.

today, we've been watching the travel channel, taking a shower (me) and a bath (sadie), eating mcalister's takeout with daddy at lunch, and baking cookies.
i think i'm starting to like this no schedule thing!
now if we could just get it together at night time, i'd be so happy! last night, i called mom to come and help for a little while because sadie's tummy has been hurting her and she will not sleep in her bassinet very well and i was exhausted. mom came around 10pm, and i told her to wake me up at midnight at the latest, just so i could get a couple of hours of sleep.
when i woke up to go and check on them, it was 4:30am!! i had slept the whole night, and my sweet mom was exhausted. thank goodness for mamas!!

  3. Sometimes I think about single moms and wonder how in the world they do it. I say better to be a single mom than someone without a Mom to help! My mother saved me from certain death by non sleep. So glad you got to sleep!

  4. Glad you got some sleep...that bow is almost as big as Sadie. =) She looks adorable as always. That was sweet of your mom to stay so long...what we do without our moms! Sorry about her little tummy; hope it feels better soon! Call me if you need anything!
