scrapbooking/menu plan

we had such a good time at the retreat! here is our little corner of the craft room... these precious pink bottles were given to us by the creative cottage girls, mindy made the adorable mini desk calendars, susanne made the precious candy pouches, and michele made us all gold hoop earrings with pearls. i didn't get a pic of it, but valerie made us the cutest multi-color stretch bracelets too...how fun to get all these great gifts!

jen and i on the first day (don't you love emily's expression in the background ;) i got so much accomplished...i got up to date on my mini preggy album, i finished a complete surprise project for kali and time (it's their housewarming party this weekend) and i got SO many pages done for our wedding album. i think i'm going to actually finish it before miss sadie comes!

this was at the town square on saturday at the most wonderful store called smitten...look them up online! i got some german glass glitter for an upcoming project, a precious package of dried lavender which is my favorite smell on earth, and a french market candle here

don't mom and susanne look like twinsies here?

and this store was so amazing!! i got vintage alphabet flashcards in french that i'm going to put up on sadie's wall above her closet. i'll show pics when i'm done.

mike picked me up saturday night and we met chris and mckinlee for dinner at cheesecake factory. they were going to see cloudy with a chance of meatballs after we ate, and we drove home...such a fun weekend, but i was SO glad to be back in my bed on saturday night!

here is my menu plan for this week...
garden salad
wednesday- olive garden minestrone soup with garlic bread
thursday- turkey and gouda panins with basil pesto
parmesan crisps (recreating a fab meal at the retreat)
friday-leftover soup
saturday-family anniversary dinner at se cocina
sunday- fall picnic at the park
hamburgers, chips, and s'mores
and for a snack-pumpkin chocolate chip muffins (got recipe via emily at little home)
